Emergency Services, Inc. was formed in 1972 to deliver
emergency services to Mount Carmel West and Mount Carmel East Hospitals in
Columbus, Ohio. The American College of Emergency Physicians recognized
ESI in 1998 as one of the oldest continuing emergency services physician groups
in the nation. The current practice sites are Mount Carmel West Hospital,
Mount Carmel East Hospital, Big Run Urgent Care Center, and Mt. Carmel East
Urgent Care Center. ESI Columbus provides emergency services to the busiest
adult Emergency Department in Central Ohio area, Mt. Carmel East Hospital.
Emergency Services are extremely important, especially
in a metropolitan area as large as Columbus. ESI is dedicated to ensuring that
every area of Columbus has access to the emergency care and services that they
deserve. ESI is also one of the oldest emergency services providers in
Columbus and is among the oldest emergency medicine groups in the country.
